Manage your subscription
Subscriptions are billed and managed by Stripe. Everything you might want to do to yours lives in their billing portal, and you can get to it below.
Open the billing portal
Stripe will ask for the email address you subscribed with, then email you a link to sign in. There is no password to remember.
Go to the Stripe billing portalWhat you can do there
- Cancel your subscription, at any time, without asking us first.
- Update your card, which is also where you fix a failed payment.
- Download invoices and receipts for anything you have been charged.
- Switch plans between Standalone and Manual.
Which email do I use?
The one you paid with, which is the address your receipts arrive at. It does not have to match anything on your sign: a subscription attaches to the sign itself rather than to an account, so the two are allowed to differ, and plenty of people pay with one address and never think about it again.
If nothing arrives, check the junk folder before assuming the address was wrong. Stripe only emails a link when it recognises the address, so silence usually means it is a different one.
Who is Stripe?
Stripe is the payment company that handles the money side of seemy.beer. They process the payment, hold the card details and send the receipts, which means we never see or store your card number. They are one of the largest payment processors in the world and are used by a very large number of the businesses you already buy from.
Because they hold the billing record, they are also the ones who can safely act on it. That is why cancelling happens on their site rather than ours, and why nobody has to wait for us to answer an email to stop paying.
Still stuck?
If the portal cannot find you, or something looks wrong on an invoice, start with the FAQ. Cancelling is the one thing you should never need us for, so if that is what you are trying to do and it is not working, say so and we will sort it.
